I have built a new publishing system for this management blog.
Recently, I have been using AI in various areas of our in-house system development. In the past, building a website, writing articles, and publishing information in multiple languages had to be treated as separate tasks. With AI, however, I am beginning to see them as parts of a single process.
This management blog is one example. I can first write in Japanese about what I am thinking and what I have learned through my daily work, and then use the new system to communicate the same ideas naturally in Chinese and English.
One area I have been particularly focused on recently is multilingual website development.
Real estate is our core business, and we are developing websites that make information about Japanese property and real estate investment easier and more convenient for international users to understand.
Japan now receives close to 40 million overseas visitors a year. When I consider how many people from other countries are actually coming to Japan, I feel that international interest in Japan is continuing to grow.
Some people visit Japan as tourists. Others consider living here, working here, or starting a business. There are also people who are interested in Japanese property or who see Japan as a destination for real estate investment.
There is an enormous amount of information available within Japan. But when that information is published only in Japanese, it is not necessarily easy for people overseas to understand.
That is something I want to change.
My goal is not simply to translate a Japanese website into other languages. I want to build websites where Japanese information is easy to understand from the perspective of a foreign user. To achieve that, we are using AI to develop our own systems for organizing and publishing information in multiple languages.
For me, the purpose of AI is not simply to make work easier. I believe its greater value is that it can help information that was previously difficult to communicate because of language differences reach many more people.
The new publishing system for this management blog is part of that effort.
I will first write in Japanese about my own ideas and what I experience through actual business, and then communicate those same ideas in Chinese and English. In this way, I hope people outside Japan can also understand what we are thinking and what kind of work we are doing.
I intend to continue using AI in our actual business, developing the systems we need ourselves, and building websites that make information about Japan clearer and more accessible to people around the world.
